This sculpture features a small copper man standing before a towering Saguaro cactus, set on a base of petrified wood. It’s a simple scene, but full of feeling—a nod to the desert, where even a single cactus can stop you in your tracks and make you feel something deeper. Full of romance and awe.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays the initials GG and the year. The petrified wood put up a fight but the result speaks for itself.
